Ensures that all utility requirements for IT services are met. Establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures. Responsible for administration and maintenance of telephone and other communications systems.

Responsible for all work performed in the operation of all power generating facilities owned and/or operated by Lamar Light and Power, including steam generating plants, wind turbine farm and other miscellaneous natural gas and fuel oil generating equipment. Duties also include after hours dispatch for power outages and other utility related issues.

Responsible for all maintenance work performed on facilities owned and/or operated by Lamar Light and Power, including the office/warehouse complex, grounds, auxiliary equipment for the steam generating plants and wind turbine farm, vehicles and other mobile equipment. Work also includes operation and maintenance of coal handling equipment and facilities and gas field operations.
